BBB Wise Giving Alliance. The Alliance collects and distributes information on hundreds of nonprofit organizations that solicit nationally or have national or international program services.
Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society. The Center provides an ongoing national and international forum for research, discussion, and public education on philanthropic trends.
Council on Foundations. It provides leadership expertise, legal services and networking opportunities -among other services- to its members and to the general public.

The Foundation Center. Founded in 1956, the Center is the nation's leading authority on philanthropy and is dedicated to serving grantseekers, grantmakers, researchers, policymakers, the media, and the general public.
Foundations and Grants: A Guide to Internet Resources. The University of Delaware Library prepared a compilation of links to funding-related sites that can be used as starting points for exploring the Internet.
GuideStar. National database of U.S. charitable organizations, gathers and distributes data on more than 850,000 IRS-recognized nonprofits.
The Inter-American Foundation. IAF is an independent agency of the United States government that provides grants to nongovernmental and community-based organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean for innovative, sustainable and participatory self-help programs.
International Center for Not-For-Profit Law. ICNL is an international organization whose mission is to facilitate and support the development of civil society on a global basis by assisting the creation and improvement of laws and regulatory systems that permit, encourage, and regulate the not-for-profit sector in countries around the world.
The Nonprofit Resource Center. Provides a comprehensive list of links to websites of interest to nonprofits, you can find information on about how to form, manage and maintain a nonprofit organization.

The U.S. International Grantmaking Project.
